Defect
The electrical wiring for the electronically controlled transmission is routed incorrectly, allowing it to contact the fuel tank. Continued operation under these conditions allows driving vibration to damage the wiring. In the worst case, an alarm lamp illuminates, gear position display malfunctions, gear shifting becomes inoperable, and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the affected wiring. If the routing is incorrect, reroute the wiring and install protective material on both the wiring and the fuel tank. If the wiring is damaged, repair it.

状況
電子制御式変速機の電気配線の取り回しが不適切なため、当該電気配線が燃料タンクと接触しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行中の振動等により当該電気配線が損傷し、最悪の場合、アラームランプの点灯、ギヤ段の表示不良、変速不能等が発生し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該電気配線を点検し、取り回しが不適切な場合は、取り回しを変更するとともに、当該電気配線と燃料タンクに保護材を装着する。また、当該電気配線に損傷がある場合は、配線を補修する。
