Defect
On large transit buses, the vehicle speed sensor mounted to the automatic transmission is improperly designed. The internal wiring of the sensor may develop a broken wire, causing the speedometer to stop indicating vehicle speed and the tachograph to stop recording speed.
Corrective action
Replace the vehicle speed sensor on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
大型路線バスにおいて、オートマチックトランスミッションに装着されている車速センサーの構造が不適切なため、当該センサー内の配線が断線し、速度計が速度を指示しなくなるとともに、運行記録計が速度を記録しなくなるそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車速センサーを対策品に交換する。
