Defect
The protective tube covering the engine control wiring is too short, causing the wiring to contact a metal bracket on some vehicles. Continued use can damage the wiring insulation and, in the worst case, produce a short circuit that blows the fuel control system fuse, stalling the engine and preventing restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, wrap the affected wiring with a protective tube and reroute it to eliminate contact with the bracket.

状況
原動機制御用電気配線を保護するチューブの長さが不足しているため、当該電気配線が金属ブラケットと干渉しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると配線被覆が損傷し、最悪の場合、短絡して燃料制御系ヒューズが切れ、原動機が停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該電気配線に保護チューブを巻き、取り回しを変更する。
