Defect
The secondary piston seal in the front wheel brake master cylinder was improperly assembled, leaving it out of its correct position. Continued brake operation causes brake fluid to leak and, in the worst case, braking force decreases.
Corrective action
Inspect the master cylinder on all vehicles. Replace any unit showing brake fluid leakage with a conforming part.
