Defect
The control software for the speedometer and related instruments contains a programming error. If the ignition switch is turned on within a specific time window after being turned off, the speedometer drive process may not execute. As a result, the speedometer and associated instruments may stop functioning.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the speedometer assembly with a corrected part.

速度計等を制御しているコンピュータのプログラムが不適切なため、イグニッションスイッチをオフにした後、特定の時間でイグニッションスイッチをオンにすると、速度計の駆動処理が行われないことがある。そのため、速度計等が作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、速度計一式を対策品と交換する。
