Defect
On refrigerated/freezer trucks, the U-bolts securing the longitudinal floor joists to the chassis frame are installed in an incorrect position, allowing them to interfere with the U-bolts securing the left rear axle leaf spring when driving on rough roads. Continued use in this condition may cause both sets of U-bolts to fracture and the leaf spring to shift. In the worst case, driving stability may be compromised.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. Where the joist U-bolts and leaf spring U-bolts are found to be interfering, replace both sets with new units and relocate the joist U-bolts to behind the rear axle. Where interference has not yet occurred, relocate the joist U-bolts to behind the rear axle.

状況
冷蔵冷凍車の縦根太とシャーシフレームを固定しているUボルト(以下、「縦根太固定用Uボルト」という。)において、取付位置が不適切なため、悪路走行時に、後軸の左側リーフスプリングを固定しているUボルト(以下、「リーフ固定用Uボルト」という。)が干渉することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、縦根太固定用Uボルトとリーフ固定用Uボルトが破損し、リーフスプリングがずれて、最悪の場合、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車点検を実施し、縦根太固定用Uボルト及びリーフ固定用Uボルトが干渉しているものは、各Uボルトを新品に交換のうえ、縦根太固定用Uボルトを車軸後方に移設する。また、干渉していないものについては、縦根太固定用Uボルトを車軸後方に移設する。
