Defect
An improper manufacturing process for the ignition coil damages the igniter integrated within the coil. Continued operation causes the coil and igniter to melt, resulting in engine malfunction. In the worst case, the engine stalls and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
Replace the ignition coil on all vehicles with a conforming part.

状況
原動機のイグニッション・コイルの製造工程が不適切なため、イグニッション・コイルに内蔵されているイグナイタを損傷させたものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると当該コイルとイグナイタが溶損し、エンジン不調となり、最悪の場合、エンストし再始動不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、イグニッション・コイルを良品と交換する。
