Defect
In the front suspension, the paint adhesion to the coil spring steel is insufficient. When sand or stones become trapped against the spring, the paint detaches easily and corrosion progresses at an accelerated rate. In the worst case, the coil spring may fracture.
Corrective action
Replace the front coil springs on all vehicles with the corrected parts.

状況
フロントサスペンションにおいて、コイルスプリングの鋼材に対する塗料の密着性が不足しているため、砂や小石を噛み込んだ場合に、塗装が剥がれやすく、腐食が早期に進行するものがある。そのため、最悪の場合、コイルスプリングが折損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロントコイルスプリングを対策品に交換する。
