Defect
Incorrect press-fit specifications for the joint between the air conditioning compressor pulley and boss cause distortion during pulley rotation, allowing the weld to detach and the pulley to spin freely. Continued use causes the accessory drive belt to separate from the pulley, disabling the alternator and, in the worst case, causing the engine to stall with no ability to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the air conditioning compressor clutch set is replaced with a conforming unit.

状況
エアコンコンプレッサのプーリとボスとの勘合部の圧入指示が不適切なため、プーリ回転時に歪みが生じ、溶接部が剥がれてプーリが空転するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、プーリからエンジン補機ベルトが外れ、発電機が作動しなくなり、最悪の場合、エンジンが停止して再始動できなくおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エアコンコンプレッサのクラッチセットを良品と交換する。
