Issue
The mounting nut torque and pulley strength of the power steering hydraulic pump pulley are insufficient, causing the mounting nut to loosen or the pulley to crack. Continued use produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, the pulley may fracture or detach, increasing steering effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the power steering hydraulic pump pulley and mounting nut with corrected parts and torque to the specified value. If the power steering hydraulic pump itself is damaged, replace it with a new unit.

状況
かじ取り装置のパワーステアリング用油圧ポンプのプーリー取り付けナットの締付け力及びプーリーの強度が不足しているため、当該プーリーの取り付けナットが緩む又はプーリーに亀裂が入るものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該プーリーが破損又は外れてハンドル操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、パワーステアリング用油圧ポンプ・プーリー及び取り付けナットを対策品と交換し指定のトルクで締付ける。また、パワーステアリング用油圧ポンプに損傷があるものは、パワーステアリング用油圧ポンプを新品と交換する。
