Defect
During the assembly process, the oil filling operation for the final gear case was performed improperly, leaving some units without oil. Continued use without oil causes damage to the internal shaft bearings and generates abnormal noise. In the worst case, the bearings may seize and lock, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, inspect the gear case for the presence of oil. If oil is absent, replace the entire gear case assembly with a new unit.

状況
組立工程において、ファイナルギヤケースへのオイル注入作業が不適切なため、オイルが注入されていないものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ギヤケース内部の軸受ベアリングが破損、異音が生じ、最悪の場合、ベアリングが焼き付き固着し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ギヤケースのオイルの有無を点検し、オイルが注入されていないものは、ギヤケース一式を新品と交換する。
