Defect
An improper fuel tank installation process results in insufficient torque on the front fuel tank mounting nuts. Continued use may cause the nuts to loosen and fall off. In the worst case, a crack may develop near the rear mounting point of the fuel tank, allowing fuel to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the front fuel tank mounting points. Where no looseness is present, retorque the fuel tank mounting nuts to the specified value. Where looseness is present, replace the fuel tank assembly with a new unit.

状況
燃料装置において、燃料タンクを取り付ける工程が不適切なため、燃料タンク前側取付 けナットの締付け力が不十分なものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ナッ トが緩んで脱落し、最悪の場合、燃料タンクの後側取付部付近に亀裂が発生し、燃料が漏 れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンク前側取付部を点検し、取付部にガタの無いものは燃料タンク取付け ナットを正規トルクで締付け、取付部にガタが有るものは燃料タンクアッセンブリを新品 と交換する。
