Defect

In the power transfer system of electric vehicles, the spline joint connecting the rear axle shaft to the drive shaft flange has insufficient strength. The spline may wear through, preventing drive force from being transmitted to the rear axle shaft and rendering the vehicle inoperable.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the rear axle shaft and drive shaft flange with corrected parts.

状況

改善措置

 全車両、リヤアスクルシャフトとドライブシャフトフランジを対策品と交換する。
