Defect
On four-wheel-drive vehicles, the weld on the support bearing bracket that retains the propeller shaft is improper. Vibration and related forces may cause the propeller shaft to separate from the bracket. In the worst case, the propeller shaft drops away completely, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete propeller shaft assembly, including the affected bracket, with a conforming unit.

状況
４輪駆動車において、プロペラシャフトを支持するサポートベアリングのブラケットの溶 接部に不適切なものがあるため、振動等により、当該ブラケットからブロペラシャフトが 外れ、最悪の場合、プロペラシャフトが脱落するとともに走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブラケットを含むプロペラシャフト一式を良品に交換する。
