Defect
On rear dual-axle drive vehicles, the thread strength at the coupling mount of the front drive-side input shaft (inter-differential case outer) that connects the propeller shaft is insufficient. The threaded section may fracture, allowing the propeller shaft to disengage from the drive axle and rendering the vehicle inoperable. Note: Applies to final reduction ratio 3.818 and below — FS/FV GVW 25 t, FS/FY GVW 21 t and above.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the inter-differential case outer with the corrected part.

状況
後２軸駆動車の動力伝達装置において、推進軸を接続する前側の駆動軸側入力軸(インタ ーデフケースアウター)の接手取付け部のねじ強度が不充分なため、当該ねじ部が折損し 、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、推進軸が駆動軸から抜け出し、走行不能となるおそ れがある。 備考：終減速比3.818以下FVGVW25t FS･FYGVW21t以上
改善措置
全車両インターデフケースアウターを対策品に交換する。
