Defect
The fuel passage in the high-pressure fuel pump that supplies the engine is improperly finished during the manufacturing process. Continued use allows aluminum debris to accumulate inside the pump, reducing fuel pressure. In the worst case, the engine stalls and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
Replace the high-pressure fuel pump on all vehicles with a known-good part.

状況
原動機に燃料を供給する高圧燃料ポンプの燃料通路の加工仕上げに不適切なものがあり、 そのままの状態で使用を続けると、高圧燃料ポンプ内に異物(アルミ片)が付着し、燃料 圧力が低下して、最悪の場合、原動機が停止し、再始動できなくなる。
改善措置
全車両、高圧燃料ポンプを良品と交換する。
