Issue
Insufficient internal cleaning of the vacuum hose for the brake booster allows excessive mold release agent residue to accumulate on the check valve installed inside the hose. When this residue combines with precipitates from the hose material, the check valve may seize when the engine is cold. This causes insufficient power assist during the first brake application after startup, increasing brake pedal effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the complete vacuum hose assembly is replaced with a corrected part.

状況
ブレーキ倍力装置用バキュームホースの内面洗浄が不十分なため、ホース内に挿入されているチェックバルブにホースの離型剤が多く付着しているものがある。そのため、チェックバルブに付着した離型剤とホースからの析出物が混合すると、エンジン冷態時にチェックバルブが固着し、始動後の最初の制動時にアシスト不足となり、ブレーキペダルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、バキュームホース一式を対策品と交換する。
