Defect
The crankshaft angle sensor wiring is improperly secured, and assembly variation allows the wiring to contact the power steering belt, damaging the insulation. Continued use may result in a broken wire in the wiring harness, causing the engine to stall and preventing restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, secure the crankshaft angle sensor wiring to the timing belt cover with a clip. Inspect the wiring; repair damaged wiring where possible, or replace with a new part where repair is not possible.

状況
クランク角センサ用配線の固定方法が不適切なため、取付けバラツキにより、当該配線 がパワーステアリングベルトと接触し、被覆が損傷する場合がある。そのため、そのまま の状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、配線が断線に至り、エンストし、再始動できなく なるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クランク角センサ用配線をクリップでタイミングベルトカバーに固定する。なお 、クランク角センサ用配線を点検し、損傷している場合には、修正可能なものは修正し、 修正不可能なものは新品と交換する。
