Defect
In the fuel system injector, an improper molding process for the injector body has left some parts with insufficient strength. Repeated high-load engine operation causes cracks to develop in the injector, allowing fuel to leak into the engine and causing engine damage. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the injector with a conforming unit.

状況
燃料装置のインジェクタにおいて、インジェクタボディの成形工程が不適切なため、部品強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、高負荷運転の繰り返しによりインジェクタに亀裂が生じ、エンジン内部に燃料が漏れエンジンが損傷し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、インジェクタを良品に交換する。
