Issue
On the front passenger assist grip, incorrect work instructions resulted in the retaining washer being omitted during assembly. Repeated use when entering or exiting the vehicle causes the assist grip to sustain damage. In the worst case, the grip detaches entirely, creating a risk of the occupant falling.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, the assist grip is replaced with a new unit and reassembled with the required washer installed.

状況
助手席アシストグリップにおいて、作業指示が不適切なため、組み付け時に固定用のワッシャが組み付けられていないものがある。そのため、乗降時に繰り返し使用すると、当該アシストグリップが破損し最悪の場合、アシストグリップが外れ、転倒するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アシストグリップを新品に交換し、ワッシャを追加して組み付ける。
