Issue
On large sightseeing buses equipped with optional passenger seats, the brackets selected to secure the seat upholstery are inappropriate for the application. Applying firm pressure to thinner areas of the seat cushion may cause a bracket to penetrate through the seat upholstery. Contact with a bracket that has pierced the upholstery may result in injury to vehicle occupants.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the six seat upholstery retaining brackets at the rear of each seat with corrected parts and re-secure.

状況
オプションの客席シートを装着した大型観光バスにおいて、シート表皮を固定する金具の選定が不適切なため、クッションの薄い部位を強く押したりすると、当該金具がシート表皮を貫通する場合がある。そのため、シート表皮を貫通した当該金具で負傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シート表皮留め金具（シート後部の６ヶ所）を対策品で留めなおす。
