Defect
On harvesting and threshing machines, excessive clearance at the mating surface between the cooling fan drive pulley and its bearing causes wear on the pulley boss. Continued use allows the wear to progress to the point where the cooling fan can no longer be driven and stops operating. Additionally, vibration from the worn pulley may damage the drive shaft, also stopping the cooling fan. In the worst case, either failure mode may result in engine overheating.
Corrective action
2. Replace the cooling fan drive unit on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
2.刈取脱穀作業車の原動機において、冷却ファンを作動させる駆動プーリとベアリングの嵌合部の隙間が大きいため、駆動プーリのボス部が摩耗することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、摩耗が進行して冷却ファンを駆動できず冷却ファンが停止し、最悪の場合、オーバーヒートに至るおそれがある。または、摩耗が進行したプーリの振動により駆動シャフトが破損して冷却ファンが停止し、最悪の場合、オーバーヒートに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
2.全車両、冷却ファン駆動ユニットを対策部品と交換する。
