Defect
In the manually folding left-side mirror, insufficient consideration of the evaluation method allows vibration during driving to cause cracks in the flange section of the manual folding unit. Continued use allows the cracks to propagate and, in the worst case, the mirror may detach.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the manual folding unit, the mirror-side stay, and their associated fastening components with corrected parts.

状況
手動格納式左側ミラーにおいて、評価方法の検討が不十分のため、走行時の振動等により手動格納式ユニットのユニットフランジ部に亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進展して、最悪の場合、ミラーが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、手動格納ユニット、ミラー側ステー、およびこれらの締結用部品を対策品に交換する。
