Issue
On compaction-type refuse trucks (manufactured by Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., trade name: Fuji Mighty), certain U-bolt mounting members used to secure the tailgate locking hooks contain a machining defect. Continued use may cause the mounting member to fracture. In the worst case, the tailgate restraint may release, and the reaction force from the load may cause the tailgate to open.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the U-bolt mounting members. Members found without damage are to have a reinforcement bracket installed. Members found with damage are to be replaced with conforming parts.

状況
圧縮板式塵芥車（富士重工業㈱製、商標名：フジマイティー）において、テールゲート固縛フックを掛けるＵボルトの取付け部材に加工不良のものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該取付け部材が破損し、最悪の場合、テールゲートの固縛が外れ、積荷の反力によりテールゲートが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、Ｕボルト取付け部材を点検する。 点検の結果、損傷のないものについては補強材を取付ける。損傷があるものについては、取付け部材を良品に交換する。
