Issue
The stopper plate that limits steering angle is welded to the frame head pipe using an improper welding process, resulting in insufficient weld penetration on some units. Repeated impact loads applied to the stopper during parking and low-speed steering maneuvers can cause cracks to develop at the weld. In the worst case, the stopper plate may detach.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the weld between the stopper plate and the head pipe. If cracks are found in the head pipe, replace the frame with a conforming unit. If no cracks are found, any weld that does not meet the acceptance criteria must be reinforced by rewelding.

状況
ハンドルの転舵角を規制するストッパープレートをフレームのヘッドパイプへ溶接する作業が不適切なため、溶接の溶け込みが不十分なものがある。そのため、ストッパーに駐車・停車時のハンドル転舵による衝撃が繰り返し加わると溶接部に亀裂が生じ、ストッパープレートが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ストッパープレートとヘッドパイプの溶接部を点検し、ヘッドパイプに亀裂が認められる場合はフレームを良品と交換する、亀裂が認められない場合は、溶接状態が判定基準を外れたものは溶接補強を行う。
