Defect
The weld joining the rear suspension support member (lower cross pipe) to the frame was improperly performed, resulting in insufficient weld strength. When the rear wheels absorb a severe impact—such as passing through a deep pothole or over an obstacle—the weld may crack or fracture. In the worst case, the rear suspension loses its support, compromising vehicle driving stability.
Corrective action
All vehicles: inspect the weld area. If the weld is fractured, replace the frame with a new unit. If the weld is intact, inspect the weld geometry and, if it does not meet the specified standard, perform weld reinforcement.

状況
後輪緩衝装置の支持部(ロアクロスパイプ)と車枠との溶接が不適切なため、当該溶接部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、深いくぼみの通過、障害物の乗り越え等により、後輪に強い衝撃を受けた場合、当該溶接部に亀裂又は破損が発生することがあり、最悪の場合、後輪緩衝装置が支持を失い、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該部を点検し、溶接部が破損しているものは車枠(フレーム)を新品と交換する。また、破損していないものは溶接形状を点検し、基準を満たさないものは溶接補強をおこなう。
