Defect
In the front wheel brake system, the cable end cover is made of an inappropriate material. Repeated operation of the parking lever — used when stopping or parking on hills — causes the inner wire to fracture. As a result, the front wheel brake may become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete front wheel brake cable assembly with the corrected part.

状況
前輪ブレーキにおいて、ケーブルエンドのカバーの材質が不適切なため、坂道などの駐停車時に使用するパーキングレバーの操作を繰返し行うと、インナワイヤが切損し、前輪ブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前輪用ブレーキケーブル一式を対策品と交換する。
