Defect
The weld joining the rear suspension support member (lower cross pipe) to the frame is improperly executed, resulting in insufficient weld strength on some vehicles. When the rear wheel receives a severe impact—such as from traversing a deep pothole or riding over an obstacle—the weld may crack or fracture. In the worst case, the rear suspension loses its support, compromising vehicle driving stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the affected weld. On units with a fractured weld, replace the frame with a new part. On units where the weld is intact, reinforce it by additional welding.

状況
後輪緩衝装置の支持部(ロアクロスパイプ)と車枠との溶接が不適切なため、当該溶接 部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、深いくぼみの通過、障害物の乗り越え等 により、後輪に強い衝撃を受けた場合、当該溶接部に亀裂又は破損が発生することがあり 、最悪の場合、後輪緩衝装置が支持を失い、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該部を点検し、溶接部が破損しているものは車枠(フレーム)を新品と交換 する。破損していないものは溶接補強を行う。
