Issue
The electrical circuit in the integrated unit that controls the key interlock mechanism—which prevents key removal when the automatic transmission is in any position other than Park—is improperly designed. Repeatedly switching the ignition off while the selector is out of Park can damage the circuit, disabling the key interlock mechanism. Once disabled, the ignition key can be removed with the selector in a position other than Park. If the parking brake has not been applied, the vehicle may roll away while parked.
Corrective action
Replace the integrated unit on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
キーインタロック機構(ATのPポジション以外でキーが抜けない機構)を制御する統合ユニットの電気回路が不適切なため、Pポジション以外でイグニッションのオフ操作を繰り返すと当該回路が損傷するものがある。そのため、キーインタロック機構が作動しなくなり、ATセレクトレバーがPポジション以外であってもキーが抜け、駐車ブレーキをかけ忘れていた場合、駐車中に車両が動き出すおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、統合ユニットを対策品と交換する。
