Issue
In the engine, the crimp securing the mounting shaft of the accessory drive belt tensioner is insufficiently formed on some units. The belt tensioner may detach from its mounting point, causing the accessory drive belt to disengage. This disables the alternator and the power steering hydraulic pump, illuminating the charge warning light and increasing steering effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the belt tensioner with the corrected part.

状況
原動機において、発電機等の補機駆動用ベルトの張力を維持するベルトテンショナーの 取付軸部のカシメが不充分なものがあるため、当該ベルトテンショナーが取付部から脱落 することがあり、補機駆動用ベルトが外れて発電機及びパワーステアリング用油圧ポンプ が作動しなくなり、充電警告灯が点灯するとともに、ハンドル操作力が増大するおそれが ある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ベルトテンショナーを対策品と交換する。
