Defect

In the brake system, an improper manufacturing process has left the diaphragm pinched inside the brake booster housing on some units. Repeated brake applications may damage the pinched diaphragm, causing a vacuum leak and reducing braking force.

状況

 制動装置において、倍力装置の製造工程が不適切なため、ダイヤフラムが倍力装置の本 体容器に噛み込まれた状態のものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ブレーキ操 作の繰り返しによりダイヤフラムが破損することがあり、負圧が漏れ、制動力が低下する おそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、倍力装置を点検し、ダイヤフラムが噛み込まれた状態のものは、良品と交換す る。
