Issue
In the engine, improper machining of the crankshaft timing belt guide plate mounting surface results in insufficient seating area. Continued use under this condition may cause the pulley mounting bolt to loosen and produce abnormal noise. In the worst case, the crankshaft pulley freewheels or the accessory-drive belt disengages from the crankshaft pulley, illuminating the charge warning light and increasing steering effort.
Corrective action
Replace the pulley mounting bolt on all vehicles with the corrected part. Inspect the crankshaft and key; if damage is found at those locations, replace with corrected parts.

状況
原動機において、クランクシャフトのタイミングベルトガイドプレートの取付座面の加工 が不適切なため、取付座面の面積が不足しているものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続 けると、プーリー取付ボルトが弛み、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、クランクプーリーが空 転、または、クランクプーリーから補機駆動用ベルトが外れ、充電警告灯が点灯するとと もに、ハンドルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策品のプーリー取付ボルトに交換するとともに、クランクシャフト及びキーを 点検し、当該部位に損傷がある場合は、良品と交換する。
