Defect
Wheel hub bolts on four-wheeled vehicles may have undergone improper heat treatment during the manufacturing process. Continued use in this condition may cause the bolts to fracture and, in the worst case, a wheel may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the wheel hub bolts with non-defective parts. Depending on the model, the replacement applies to all front and rear wheels, the front wheels only, or the rear wheels only.
