Defect
An improper manufacturing process used for the U-bolts that secure the rear axle to the leaf springs may cause cracks to develop in the bolts. Exposure to road de-icing agents and similar substances causes the cracked bolts to corrode. Continued use may cause the bolts to fracture, producing abnormal noise, and the bolts and bump stoppers may detach. Additionally, the rear axle may shift out of position, reducing vehicle stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete set of fastening bolts with corrected parts.

状況
リヤアクスルをリーフスプリングに締結するUボルトの製造工程が不適切なため、当該ボルトに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、融雪剤などにより当該ボルトが腐食し、そのまま使用を続けると破損して異音が発生するとともに、ボルト、バンプストッパが脱落するおそれや、リヤアクスルの位置がずれ、走行安定性が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、締結ボルト一式を対策品に交換する。
