Defect
The cable bracket inside the equalizer—the interlocking mechanism that distributes braking force to the front and rear wheels—has insufficient strength on some units. Repeated application of strong force to the left brake lever may deform the cable bracket, causing the brake cable to detach from the bracket. As a result, operating the left brake lever may produce no braking effect.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the equalizer serial number. On units with serial numbers F6 through H29, replace the cable bracket with a non-defective replacement part.

状況
前、後輪にブレーキ力を伝える連動機構(イコライザー)内のケーブルブラケットに強 度の不足しているものがあるため、左側ブレーキレバーを強い力で繰り返し操作をおこな うと、ケーブルブラケットが変形してブレーキケーブルがブラケットから外れることがあ る。そのため、左側ブレーキレバーを操作してもブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、イコライザーの製造番号を確認し、該当するものは(F6~H29)ケーブル ブラケットを良品と交換する。
