MLIT filing number1109720
TypeStatutory Recall (government-mandated recall)

Defect

The blowby gas recirculation system piping—specifically the breather tube length and breather pipe shape—is improperly designed. Repeated hard acceleration in low ambient temperatures may cause engine movement to dislodge the breather pipe. As a result, blowby gas may be released directly into the atmosphere during high engine load operation.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the breather pipe and breather tube with the corrected parts.
