Defect
The electrical wiring for the generator is incorrectly routed, with insufficient wire length. Engine vibration subjects the wiring terminal to excessive stress. Continued operation in this condition causes the terminal to fracture, disabling battery charging. In the worst case, the engine may stall and be unable to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, a corrected supplemental wiring harness will be added at the affected terminal.

発電機の電気配線において、当該配線の長さ設定が不適切なため、配線の端子部にエン ジンの振動により過大な力がかかり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該配線の端子 部が折損し、充電できなくなり、最悪の場合、原動機が停止し、再始動ができなくなるお それがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該端子部について対策用電気配線を追加する。
