Defect

The electrical wiring for the alternator was manufactured shorter than specified. Continued use causes engine vibration to repeatedly stress the wiring terminal, leading to fracture and loss of charging function. In the worst case, the engine may stall and be unable to restart.

Corrective action

All vehicles: replace the affected electrical wiring with a non-defective part.

状況

発電機の電気配線において、当該配線が短いものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続ける と、エンジンの振動により、当該配線の端子部が折損し、充電できなくなり、最悪の場合 、原動機が停止し、再始動ができなくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該電気配線を良品と交換する。
