Defect
Replacement engines supplied for manual transmission vehicles were fitted with a flywheel that pre-dates the corrective action issued on February 13, 2003, under notification number Outside-999. When driving at low speed in a high gear, the resulting vibration damages the flywheel internally. In the worst case, power transmission is lost and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the flywheel with the corrected part.

状況
手動変速機付き車両に修理用として供給した原動機において、平成１５年２月１３日付け「届出番号外－９９９」の対策前のフライホイールを装着したため、高い変速ギア段で低速走行を行うと発生する振動によりフライホイール内部が破損し、最悪の場合、動力が伝達されず、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フライホイールを対策品と交換する。
