Defect
The engine control unit software is incorrectly programmed. When the accelerator pedal is released during low-speed deceleration, the EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation device) malfunctions, causing unstable engine speed. In the worst case, the engine stalls.
Corrective action
Reprogram the engine control unit software on all vehicles.

状況
原動機を制御するコンピュータのプログラムが不適切なため、低速走行時に減速のため アクセルペダルを離した場合、ＥＧＲバルブ（排出ガスを減少させるための排気ガス再循 環装置）が誤作動して原動機の回転が不安定になり、最悪の場合、原動機が停止するおそ れがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該コンピュータプログラムを変更する。
