Defect
The muffler mounting bracket has an improper shape, causing it to contact the engine fuel pipe on some vehicles. Vehicle vibration and continued use can damage the pipe, allowing fuel to leak. In the worst case, this may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the fuel pipe. Damaged pipes are to be replaced with new pipes, and the muffler mounting bracket is to be replaced with a corrected part.

状況
マフラー取付けブラケットの形状が不適切なため、当該ブラケットがエンジンの燃料パイ プと接触しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、車両の振動等により パイプが損傷して、最悪の場合、燃料が洩れて、火災に至る恐れがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料パイプを点検し、損傷しているものは新品のパイプに交換して、マフラー取 付けブラケットを対策品と交換する。
