Defect
The horn has insufficient water resistance. During rain or other wet driving conditions, water intrudes into the horn and causes corrosion of the internal contacts. This prevents the horn from sounding at a consistent volume and tone. In the worst case, the horn fails to sound entirely.
Corrective action
Replace the horn on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
警音器の耐水性が不適切なため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、雨天走行等の水が警 音器内部に浸入し、内部の接点が腐食して、当該警音器が連続した一定の大きさや音色で 鳴らなくなり、最悪の場合、警音器が鳴らなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該警音器を対策品と交換する。
