Defect
On light trucks and buses, the fuel return hose material is incorrect, causing the hose to swell when exposed to chemical agents used during vehicle upfitting or washing. Continued use in this condition can cause the hose connection to separate and fuel to leak. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the fuel hose will be replaced with a corrected part. If parts are not immediately available, a clamp will be added to the fuel hose connection as an interim measure until the corrected part can be installed.

状況
小型トラック・バスにおいて、戻り側燃料ホースの材質が不適切なため、架装時、車両洗車時等に使用される化学物質により、燃料ホースが膨潤するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、燃料ホースの接続部が外れて燃料が漏れ、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料ホースを対策品に交換する。 なお、部品が供給できない場合には、暫定措置として燃料ホースの接続部にクランプを追加し、対策品が供給され次第、燃料ホースを対策品に交換する。
