Defect
The control software in the BMS (Battery Management System: high-voltage battery ECU) and DCB (DC Box: rapid-charging ECU) is incorrect, causing the system to falsely detect a CAN communication error. When this false detection occurs, the EV system warning lamp (red) illuminates and the high-voltage battery state-of-charge displayed on the instrument cluster drops to 0%. As a result, the vehicle may become inoperable while driving, or the high-voltage system may fail to start when the ignition is switched on.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the BMS and DCB control software with the corrected/updated software.

状況
BMSおよびDCBの制御プログラムが不適切なため、CAN通信エラーが生じたと誤判定することがある。そのため、EVシステム(赤色)の警告灯が点灯して、メーター内に表示されている高電圧バッテリーの充電率が0%を示して走行不能またはキーON時に高電圧システムが起動不可能状態になるおそれがある。 ※BMS(Battery management system:高電圧バッテリー用ECU) ※DCB(DC Box:急速充電用ECU)
改善措置
