Defect
On electric trucks, the software programmed into the steering switch is incorrect, causing the steering switch on the odometer-operation side to stop functioning. As a result, the driver cannot select menu items displayed in the meter cluster using the steering switch and cannot readily confirm the odometer reading. This condition does not conform to Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the steering wheel with one fitted with a corrected steering switch.

状況
電動トラックにおいて、ステアリングスイッチ内に書き込まれているソフトウェアが不適切なため、距離計操作側のステアリングスイッチが作動しなくなりメータークラスター内に表示するメニューを選択出来なくなることがある。そのため、運転者がステアリングスイッチを操作して容易に走行距離を確認出来ず、保安基準に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策品のステアリングスイッチを装着したステアリングホイールに交換する。
