Defect
In the transmission control computer of mild hybrid vehicles, an incorrect clutch control program causes the engagement timing of the clutch connecting the motor and engine to shift during EV driving when the stopped engine is restarted. As a result, the piston may not be at the correct stop position required for restart, and the engine may fail to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram both the transmission control computer and the engine control computer with the corrected/updated software, then perform transmission initialization learning.

改善措置
①②全車両、トランスミッション制御コンピュータとエンジン制御コンピュータの制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正し、トランスミッションの初期学習を実施する。
