Defect
On combination meters, incorrect condition settings used when distributing control program updates for field service have caused some units to be written with an incorrect control program. As a result, the Cruising & Traffic Support system warning—which prompts the driver to place hands on the steering wheel after a set period of hands-free or loosely-held steering while driving—may not be displayed on the combination meter.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the combination meter with the correct control program.

状況
コンビネーションメータにおいて、市場整備のため制御プログラムを配信する際の条件設定が不適切なため、整備時に誤った制御プログラムが書き込まれたものがある。そのため、クルージング＆トラフィック・サポートの機能で走行中にハンドルから手を放す、または緩く握った状態が一定時間続いた場合に作動する、ハンドル操作を促すための警告がコンビネーションメータに表示されないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、コンビネーションメータの制御プログラムを正しいプログラムに修正する。
