Defect
The transmission control computer uses improper clutch control logic during deceleration. When the vehicle is brought to a stop with firm brake application, the clutch connecting the engine and motor may remain disengaged. As a result, engine power cannot be transmitted, and the vehicle may be unable to move off even when the accelerator is applied.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the transmission control computer with the corrected/updated software and perform the transmission's initial learning procedure.

状況
トランスミッション制御コンピュータにおいて、減速中のクラッチ制御が不適切なため、強めにブレーキを踏んで停止した際、エンジンとモータを繋ぐクラッチが解放したままになることがある。そのため、エンジンからの動力を伝達できず、アクセルを踏んでも発進できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、トランスミッション制御コンピュータの制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正し、トランスミッションの初期学習を実施する。
