Defect
On wing-body trucks, inadequate manufacturing process controls during routing of the wing power harness cause it to press against the chassis harness, forcing unprotected sections of the chassis harness into contact with the chassis frame. Driving vibration can then abrade through the chassis harness insulation, causing a short circuit. In the worst case, the engine may stall and a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reroute the wing power harness. If the chassis harness shows damage, replace it with a new part.

状況
ウイング車のウイング電源ハーネスの配線配策箇所において、製造管理が不適切なため、ウイング電源ハーネスがシャシハーネスを押しつけてしまい、シャシハーネスの保護のない部分がシャシフレームに干渉することがある。そのため、走行振動等でシャシハーネスの被覆が破れ短絡し、最悪の場合、エンジンが停止し火災にいたるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ウイング電源ハーネスの配策を変更し、シャシハーネスに損傷がある場合は新品に交換する。
