Defect
The inverter controlling the drive motor uses a fault-detection program with improper logic, causing the inverter to incorrectly flag the drive motor as failed under certain conditions. When this occurs, an EV system warning message is displayed on the combination meter and drive motor output is shut down. As a result, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the inverter control software.

状況
駆動モータを制御しているインバータにおいて、駆動モータの異常判定プログラムが不適切なため、駆動モータの不要な異常判定を行うことがある。そのため、コンビネーションメータにEVシステム警告メッセージを表示するとともに、駆動モータ出力を停止させることで、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、インバータの制御プログラムを修正する。
